Here’s a lighter-bodied Grüner Veltliner with all the herbal and green-pepper intensity you you expect from wines of this category. Very nice, crisp acidity and some minerals at the slightly firm finish.

93 Punkte – GV Ried Singerriedel Smaragd 2019

Tons of candied-orange character here with some delicate, spicy notes. This is rich and concentrated, but remains polished and silky. Long, surprisingly delicate finish for a heavyweight category Wachau grüner veltliner. 

90 Punkte – GV Ried Axpoint Federspiel 2019

Attractive dried-lemon and pineapple character with medium body, nice fruit and a clean finish.
